Wooden bread/dough scoring lame

A very beautiful and handy scoring lame to put your signature pattern on your loaves. 

Historically scoring your loaves- other than making sure it bursts in the right place and expands beautifully- was important when your loaves were fired in a community oven. This made sure you could identify your proud loaf when it came out of the oven.
