Affectionately known as "Vogels on steroids," Gutsy is the original Echt powerhouse—a whole grain loaf designed for those who want their daily bread to do more. Built with our massive grain/seed-to-flour ratio and slow cold fermentation provide real, substantial fuel. This is bread with guts.
It is the lowest GI (Glycaemic index) loaf you can find on the menu, so it doesn't spike your blood sugar levels compared to white bread.
The slow fermentation and soaking of seeds makes it stay moist and tasty for ages.
The FRUIT version has apricots and sultanas instead of sunflower seeds, so it still has linseeds and grains for goodness
