My Ryevolution is the mother of all my loaves. This Rye bread is where I came from as a person (Germany) and as a baker (it was the first loaf I baked). But it is also where I want to head: Telling a new story of rye in New Zealand. Not the dense pumpernickel dish with fancy salmon topping- which goes round and round at a party, people politely saying 'no thank you'. But a moist, soft crumb bread with a great deep flavour and all the health benefits you want.
What's there not to love:
- Zero white flour (but full of fibre and taste)
- 100% organic Canterbury grains, from Joyce & John in Methven- milled in the Echt bakery so nutrients are fresh, real and sustaining.
